Assigning Components to 3D Occurrences
Assigning Components to 3D Occurrences
In cases where already placed occurrences (components) in a 3D assembly do exist, and you need to interconnect these 3D components to a P&ID component, you can use the following techniques.
If an assignment was made by mistake or it is not further desirable, it can be canceled easily.
How to assign a component to 3D occurrence
For assigning components to 3D occurrences there are two commands available.
These can be used as described below.
Using the Add component to occurrence in CAD command
To add component to occurrence in CAD, follow these steps:
Select desired unassigned component in To-Do List.
Start the Assign component to occurrence in CAD .
Select desired 3D occurrence in CAD application or Piping tree view.
Using the Add component to selected occurrence in CAD command
